10 Benimaru Was Recently Upgraded To A Fair Oni To Retain His Standing
Benimaru was in danger of being left behind as the series introduced progressively more powerful characters. The demon lords made everyone else look vastly less impressive just based on the fact that even Rimuru wasn’t strong enough to fight them.
However, when Rimuru upgraded into becoming a demon lord, Benimaru was upgraded as well and turned into a Fair Oni. With this new power, he’s now a disaster-class being, which paired with his existing skills makes him into one of the biggest threats that aren’t actual demon lords of some kind.
9 Karrion Was Once A Demon Lord, But After Being Defeated By Milim, He Lost His Title
Karrion once held the rank of demon lord, as part of the original “ten great demon lords” organization. He ran the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania, and was actually a powerful disaster-class king. His unique skill lets him transform into a beastman form that improves his abilities, and he can also regenerate.
His special move, Beast Roar, can lay waste to most foes... but when he hit Milim with it, she easily dismissed its power, claiming it only stung her hand. After she soundly defeated him, Karrion was left with no choice but to give up his title.
8 Diablo Was On Par With The Strongest Characters In The Past, But Gave Up Training Because Fights Were Too Easy
Someone who absolutely should not have been summoned, Diablo became a member of the Jura Tempest Federation after Rimuru upgraded into becoming a demon lord. He was summoned by Rimuru while he was undergoing his upgrade process.

Diablo’s power was so incredible at one point that he was able to keep up with Ash Crimson, but eventually, he stopped seeking power because every fight had become far too easy for him. 7 Ramiris Doesn't Seem Like A Threat, But Is Both Ancient& Incredibly Powerful
Ramiris doesn’t seem like it, but she’s also one of the original demon lords that were there alongside Guy Crimson and Milim. Though tiny, she has the respect and loyalty of all the dryads of the forest, including the capable Treyni.
She was once the Queen of the Fairies, but these days she keeps to herself inside of her dungeon. Her more powerful form allows her to reach the level of an S-Rank disaster-class demon lord, which places her far above most fighters in the Slime universe.

As the main character, Rimuru Tempest has developed an incredible amount in a very short period of time, largely because of his unique skills. His ability to consume literally anything and gain its power allows him to make rapid increases in strength that others could only dream of reaching.
After absorbing Geld,which was meant to be an attempt to become a demon lord, Rimuru’s power grew. When Rimuru attempted to revive his friend Shion, he took another leap in power,and became an official demon lord, but it remains to be seen just how powerful that makes him in comparison to the others in the manga.
5 Leon Cromwell Has Vast Power& The Respect Of The Strongest Demon Lord
Known as the Platinum Saber, Leon Cromwell is another member of the Eight Demon Lords. Summoned to the planet centuries ago, he has spent centuries manipulating things to achieve his goal.
His power grew enough for him to be known as a demon lord, but upon claiming to have that role of demon lord, he was attacked by a different demon lord... who he promptly killed, cementing his status. He’s respected by Guy Crimson, which in itself is noteworthy considering Guy’s ridiculous power.
4 Veldora Tempest Was Sealed Off For Centuries But Is As Strong As Ever
Veldora Tempest is the True Dragon Rimuru finds at the beginning of the series. He was sealed away because of his actions in the past, where he destroyed a city and ticked off another demon lord.

Veldora spent several centuries locked away in an area that bled him of his magic, but still remained incredibly powerful and was thought of as a reason to avoid the Jura forest whenever possible. Rimuru absorbing Veldora sets a ton of storylines in motion, and in the manga and light novel him agreeing to be Jura’s guardian deity grants them additional protection.
3 Luminous Valentine Is Responsible For Sealing Off Veldora Tempest
Luminous Valentine is another of the ancient demon lords. She’s a member of the Eight Demon Lords and considered a Rank S. It was her home that Veldora attacked which resulted in him being sealed away.
Since then, she’s placed herself in control over the country of Ruberios without anyone knowing. As a demon lord, her special skill is Lust, which gives her control over life and death itself, making it literally impossible for anyone to kill her.
2 Guy Crimson Fought Milim Nava To A Standstill For An Entire Week
Guy Crimson is the first seat of the Eight Demon Lords, a place he gained by being one of the first Ancient Demon Lords alongside Milim and Ramiris. He’s been alive for several millennia, and with his power, he’s destroyed multiple countries already.
He got into it with Milim after she lost her pet dragon, and the two of them fought for an entire week until Milim finally calmed down. That fight didn’t have a winner, so it’s hard to say that either of them is stronger than the other.
1 Milim Nava Can Lay Waste To An Entire Country With One Attack
Milim Nava is mostly the 1A to Guy Crimson’s 1B, as the two of them have fought to a draw. Though she doesn’tseem like it in her usual costume, she’s been the most powerful person in the series since the moment she was introduced in season one.
And she displays that power in season two when she just tanks Karrion’s most powerful spell in his Beast Master form with no problem. In her full destroyer form, Milim is capable of laying waste to part of a country with her Drago-Nova ability.
